What should you know?

There is a lot of information about ACTA out there, but not all of it is up-to-date.

Whatever you do, please do it in a polite and constructive manner. And aside from taking any of the actions (or all) listed below, you can also help by encouraging others to do the same.


Sign a petition:

We would encourage you to sign both petitions below, to avoid dispersion of signatures

Participate at an event against ACTA:

  • February 11 is the International Day of Action Against ACTA
  • Access (Now) has aggregated  a list of links to all national protests against ACTA.
  • They are also listed on the StoppActa Wiki.
  • Live coverage can be found on Al Jazeera

Email and/or call your MEP at the European Parliament:

  • Use the form put together by Stop ACTA in EU! or the form from KillActa.org
  • Use the links to contact details collected by EDRI as well as their advice on how to do calls.
  • Read the helpful information collected by La Quadrature du Net

Who opposes ACTA?

More and more people are raising their voice in opposition to ACTA.
